Alex Robinson is the leader of the plasma physics group at STFC’s Central Laser Facility (UK), where he has been since 2005, starting out working with Peter Norreys. His research interests have included ion acceleration, fast electron transport, advanced ICF, direct laser acceleration of electrons, and a number of other aspects of high power laser-matter interactions.
