In accordance with the Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on Personal Data Processing and Article 13 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the "GDPR"), we wish to inform you that as a consequence of registration we collect and process following personal data: the name and the surname, the e-mail address and your employer/institution.

The personal data are processed for the purposes of (ii) informing you about the event organized by The Extreme Light Infrastructure ERIC, id. no. 10974938, with the registered seat at Za Radnicí 835, Dolní Břežany, post code 252 41, Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as “ELI ERIC”), to which you registered, (ii) the statistics of attendance at the event, and (iii) providing you with the information about similar events in the future.

The above specified personal data will be processed for as long as you wish to be informed about similar events in the future, but no less than three years. The personal data are processed in accordance with the provisions of Article 6 (1) letter b) and f) of the GDPR by ELI ERIC as the personal data controller. The legitimate interest of the ELI ERIC is to have contact information on persons who might be interested in similar events in the future and also to have data in case of a legal dispute arising out of the participation at the event.

In connection with the processing of your personal data, ELI ERIC hereby informs you of the existence of the right to request from the controller access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning you or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, which is in this case The Office for Personal Data Protection in the Czech Republic.

The provision of your personal data is a necessary conditions for the participation at the selected event (requirement necessary to entry into a contract). In case you refuse to provide the required personal data, the registration at the event shall be rejected.

ELI ERIC hereby informs you that in this case there is no existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, referred to in Article 22(1) and (4) of the GDPR.
