Instructions for Speakers

Lectures length

Invited speakers | 25 minutes for his/her lecture and 5 minutes for a discussion and changing presenters

Other speakers | 15 minutes for his/her lecture and 5 minutes for a discussion and changing presenters.

When it is time for your lecture, go to the podium immediately when the previous speaker has finished the presentation and answered questions. The session chair will introduce your lecture and ask you to start your presentation.

Please start your presentation considering the following:

  • Start immediately on the topic and avoid another introduction given by yourself.
  • Pace your talk to end at the scheduled ending time.
  • Please observe the time allocated for your presentation and discussion.
  • Please follow instructions of the session chairman.
  • During the time for discussion, listen carefully to the questions from the audience and answer them briefly. If you cannot answer the questions briefly, ask for a private discussion after the session.

How to upload your presentation

We would like to kindly ask all the speakers for sending their presentations to the organizers one day in advance of their scheduled talk at the latest:

This way you will help make the conference path smooth and on-schedule. 

The allowed presentation formats are .pptx or .pdf.

Please note, that there will not be an option to upload your presentation directly on-site on the day of your talk, and will be not possible to use your own laptop.

Instructions for Poster Presenters

  • All authors are asked to display their poster presentations within from Monday untill the Wednesday morning coffee break.
  • The special poster session  is allocated in the programme on Tuesday in the afternoon.
  • Posters that are not dismounted will be removed by staff and discarded.
  • Please note, that it is not possible to print out your poster on site.
  • A0 format (841 x 1189 mm = portrait) is recommended.
