First ELI ERIC Peer Review Panel Meeting

The Extreme Light Infrastructure ERIC (ELI ERIC) is welcoming scientific users through an open access process based on scientific excellence. An important part of the selection process is independent reviews by external experts.

The review process is critical in ensuring scientific excellence at ELI and the contribution of the panel members is important for the overall success of the Call.

Connected to the 2nd Joint ELI Call for Users, the first in-person panel meeting will be held in Prague on 5-6 June 2023 (lunch to lunch) to which you are cordially invited.

Participants are requested to register for the event until 27 May 2023. 


The Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) is the world’s leading laser-based research infrastructure. It serves cutting-edge research in physical, chemical, materials and medical sciences, as well as breakthrough technological innovations. ELI ERIC provides access to world-class high power and ultra-fast lasers for science and enable cutting-edge research in physical, chemical, materials, and medical sciences, as well as breakthrough technological innovations.

The Czech Republic hosts the ELI ERIC statutory seat in Dolní Břežany, in the South of Prague, at the ELI Beamlines facility. A second facility, ELI ALPS, is hosted by Hungary in Szeged. The Czech Republic and Hungary are joined by Italy and Lithuania as founding members, while Germany and Bulgaria are founding observers. A third ELI facility is being delivered in Romania in the field of nuclear photonics and is expected to complement the current ELI ERIC facilities in the future.
