ELI ERIC Peer Review Panel Meeting (invitation only)

The Extreme Light Infrastructure is welcoming scientific users through an open access process based on scientific excellence. An important part of the selection process is independent reviews by external experts. The review process is critical in ensuring scientific excellence at ELI and the contribution of the panel members is important for the overall success of the Call.

Connected to the 6th Joint ELI Call for Users (to be launched on 18 March 2025), the in-person panel meeting will be hosted at the ELI ALPS Facility on 16-17 June 2025.

Swiss Hungarian Cooperation Program – Launching ELI ALPS Cooperation project

This project is designed to strengthen the scientific relations and cooperation between Swiss and Hungarian researchers, attract Swiss researchers to carry out research at ELI ALPS and facilitate the integration of ELI ALPS into international networks. Swiss affiliated users will receive support from ELI ALPS to cooperate, exchange their know-how and implement their joint research projects by using the infrastructure. The Swiss ultrafast laser science community is targeted in order to establish mutual, long-term scientific collaboration.

The launching event of the project will be hosted at the ELI ALPS Facility on 17 June 2025.

X-lites Early Career Workship & International Travel Fellowships

X-lites is supporting early career researchers to travel to the ELI User Meeting, develop professional skills in our workshop, and build your professional network. X-lites is offering a limited number of international travel fellowships to cover the cost of travel. The workshop will be on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 17, at ELI ALPS. The workshop will provide practical strategies for fostering strong relationships, managing network dynamics, and enhancing collaborative knowledge creation. X-lites encourages late-stage graduate students, postdocs, pre-tenure faculty, and junior researchers to join the workshop.
