Poster Session

All participants are encouraged to present their latest research during the User Meeting Poster session on 19 June Thursday.

Who Should Submit a Poster?  

  • Scientists or researchers who have conducted experiments at ELI or are interested in doing so in the future.
  • Young researchers eager to share their research or methods with the scientific community.
  • Researchers with experimental concepts or ideas for initiating a user campaign and seek assistance for developing their concept.
  • Other relevant topics related to science and technology at ELI.

  • Surface and materials science
  • Industrial, biological, and medical applications of research
  • Ion acceleration and radiation
  • Electron acceleration and fundamental Interactions

How to Submit?

Indicate your interest to submit a poster in the registration. Submit an abstract as described.

There is only limited capacity for posters. Submissions will be accepted on a first come first serve basis and relevance.

 

Poster Guidelines

If you are interested in presenting your contribution as a poster, please follow these guidelines :

Poster will be presented on a single board that is 100 cm (39.4 inches) wide and 200 cm (78.7 inches) high.

We recommend preparing and print posters of ISO A0 size (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm) or US Arch E (36 in x 48 in) in PORTRAIT orientation on the board.

NOTE: Printing of posters is not provided by the organisers.

The posters will be displayed in the main hall of the ELI ALPS's Building C, surrounding the conference hall. 

Poster prizes for the top 3 posters will be awarded by a designated panel. Please note that poster prize winners will have the opportunity to deliver a 5-minute talk about their work on 20 June, Friday, during the 11:30 poster awards and wrap-up session.
