19 - 20 October 2026 | Kick-off Meeting

  • Date: 19-20 October 2026
  • Time: lunch to lunch
  • Format: hybrid — ELI Beamlines Facility

The kick-off is the first formal meeting of the consortium after entry into force of the Grant Agreement. It follows two online pre-kick-off meetings, which covered the Grant Agreement preparation, the Consortium Agreement and the initial nominations.

Objectives

  • Welcome the consortium and the associated partners at the ELI Beamlines Facility and establish a working relationship across the five organisations and nine associated partners.
  • Present the action as approved: objectives, five mission areas, the €3 million cascade-funding envelope, and the 48-month implementation logic.
  • Walk through every Work Package at task level – objectives, tasks, deliverables, milestones, interfaces and resources – with the responsible lead beneficiary presenting.
  • Fix the organisational framework: governance bodies, decision rights and escalation, meeting architecture, coordination tools, reporting discipline and communication rules.
  • Hear the expectations of the European Commission / REA directly from the Project Officer.
  • Agree the critical path to the opening of the first open call and the named owners for the first six months.

Expected outputs

  • Confirmed list of WP leaders, task leaders and deputies, with financial and communication contacts per partner.
  • Agreed meeting calendar, coordination-tool setup and reporting calendar for the first 12 months.
  • One consolidated action log with owner, deadline and evidence location per item, circulated within two working days.
  • Confirmed critical path and risk list for the open call and the technical feasibility gate.

All participants are invited to join the get-together dinner on the evening of the day 1, on 19 October 2026, as of 19:00 CEST.

Participants are requested to register for the event until TBC  October 2026.

Participants are responsible for organizing and paying their own travel costs to the venue as well as for their accommodation.
