Rooseveltova Dormitory
Accommodation for registered students is available at Rooseveltova Dormitory ("Rooseveltova kolej").
Of course, you can provide your own accommodation.

The dormitory provides practical and affordable student housing with convenient access to public transportation and easy connection to Prague city center.

There will be available a limited number of
- Single rooms
- Double (shared) rooms
Unfortunately it is not possible to guarantee single rooms for all participants.
Room allocation will follow a first-come, first-served basis.
Participants who register earlier will have priority in selecting room type.
If all single rooms are already booked, a shared double room will be reserved for you.
Accommodation Price
Approx. 500–700 CZK per night, depending on room availability and type.
Payment
Payment is to be made upon arrival at the dormitory reception.

Public Transport Access
- The nearest tram stop: "Výstaviště"
- The nearest metro station: "Nádraží Holešovice" (red line C)
- Approximately 5–10 minutes walking distance or one tram stop
The location provides quick access to public transportation across Prague.
How to Get from Rooseveltova Dormitory to ELI Beamlines
The easiest way to reach ELI Beamlines (Dolní Břežany) is by public transport:
- Take the metro Line C (Red Line) from Nádraží Holešovice station.
- Travel in the direction of Háje.
- Get off at Kačerov station.
- From Kačerov, take bus No. 333 and get off at Dolní Břežany, obecní úřad stop.
- From there, it is approximately 2 minutes on foot to ELI Beamlines.
We recommend allowing approximately 45–60 minutes for the full journey.
Fare of public transport
All registered students will receive a 10-day public transport pass for Prague at the registration desk on the first day of the Summer School.
Please note that this transport pass is not valid for travel all the way to ELI Beamlines, as Dolní Břežany is located outside the Prague public transport zone.
When boarding bus No. 333 at Kačerov, please show your Prague transport pass to the driver and purchase an additional ticket for the section to Dolní Břežany.
Payment on the bus is possible by:

Please note that drivers may be reluctant to accept large banknotes.
