The Summer School on ICF Related Laser and Plasma Sources and Technology is an intensive programme organized by LaserFusion project. It is designed for MSc and PhD students interested in cutting-edge laser and plasma technologies for Inertial Fusion Energy (IFE).
The school focuses on the physics and technology of high-power laser drivers, their beam properties, and the challenges of transporting and delivering laser energy to fusion targets. Participants will gain insight into state-of-the-art laser systems, optical components, target technologies, and experimental infrastructure.
The program combines expert lectures with hands-on activities, facility tours, and interactive sessions, providing both theoretical background and practical experience in a world-leading laser research environment.
The school is open to students selected by LaserFusion project partners.
