The COST Action CA21128-PROBONO offers the opportunity of a reimbursement-type grant for up to 8 trainees.
According to COST rules, trainees eligleble to recieve financial support are only:
Individuals affiliated to a legal entity in COST Full/Cooperating Member, Near Neighbour Countries (NNC) or to a European RTD organisation. (see https://www.cost.eu/Country_Organisations_Table).
If you fulfill the above requirement, you can follow the next steps to apply for a CA21128-PROBONO scholarship until 20 of May 2026:
- Request for financial support by sending an email with your CV and a motivation letter to WG1-Leader, prof. Fitilis, at wg1.leader@ca-probono.eu (Use as subject "Request for GEANT4 scholarship" and you will recieve an automatic confirmation reply)
- Join Working Group 1 or/and orthers WG of the COST Action PROBONO at https://www.cost.eu/actions/CA21128 (you need to have/create an account to e-COST)
- By 25th of May, you will be informed via email if you are selected for a scholarship.
- Before the school starts, the awarded participants will receive an official invitation from the e-COST platform.
The grant includes travel support and daily allownce.
•The travel support is up to maximum 400€ for the long-distance travel expenses (>100km) from your location to the school venue and return. If actual cost is less than 400€, the exact amount spent will be reimbursed.
•The daily allowance (DA) is 160€ per day, for each day of the school, plus 100% of DA for arrival before the frist day and 40% of DA for departure after the last day of the school.
•The COST rules for reimbursement wil be applied.
Please notice: reimbursement will be provided after the school ends, which means that participants will need to pay in advance to be reimbursed afterwards.
