Who Can Register for the Summer School?
Our summer school program is designed for motivated individuals at various levels of their academic journey.
The event is open to:
- Bachelor students
- Master students
- PhD students
- Early postdocs (up to a maximum of 4 years after PhD defense)
Please note that the program is not intended for high school students.
In accordance with European Union regulations nationals and affiliations from Iran, North Korea, Belarus, and Russia are currently ineligible to participate in ELISS 2025. This policy aligns with EU sanctions and restrictions in place.
200 EUR | Standard fee | Registered and paid February 1 - June 30, 2025
300 EUR | Late fee | Registered and paid from July 1, 2025
Participation in the event is upon registration. Registration is moderated. Please pay the fee after you receive a registration confirmation. The fee is waived for local students who do not require accommodation.
For international students from countries with limited access to research funding or infrastructures, we invite you to check our Travel grants option.
The fee includes:
- Access to the lectures and the poster session;
- Accommodation (incl. breakfasts) for five nights from Sunday, 24 August to Friday, 29 August 2025
- Daily morning transfer ELI Beamlines Facility (Monday-Friday)
- Daily afternoon transfer from ELI Beamlines Facility back to Prague
- Transfer from ELI Beamlines Facility to the airport on Friday
- Food and refreshments during the programme
- Conference materials
The fee does not include:
- Travel costs
- Transfer from the airport to the hotel
- Dinners

Step by Step
- Fill in the registration form.
- You should receive an automatic confirmation as soon as you fill in the form.
If not, please check your spam box. - Do not forget to fill in the billing address, if your university/company is paying for your costs.
- You can pay by a credit card directly after filling your registration form, or you can return to the payment later using the "Modify" link.
- Or you can pay by bank transfer. In this case please include the following message to the recipient:
Your name + ELISS25, your registration or invoice number
Without these details we are not able to identify your payment and it will be considered as unpaid.
Cancellation conditions
The ELISS office must be notified about any cancellation in writing.
Cancellations received on or after August 15, 2025 are NOT eligible for refund.
