To support student participation at WavemiX 2026 / the COST Action NEXT Annual Meeting, we offer a limited number of Student Travel Support grants, with priority for Inclusiveness Target Countries.
Eligibility
- Students from European countries (PhD students preferred, but last year MSc students or postdocs with a maximum of 2 years after PhD are also eligible)
- Active participation in the full meeting (Mon–Fri)
Application
Contact information, short CV, and abstract of the student's contribution will be required, as well as contact information of his/her supervisor to endorse the application. Only complete applications will be considered.

Support (COST reimbursement)
Cost of long-distance travel (max 400 EUR) and daily allowance of 175 EUR/day (accommodation/local transport/food) will be provided to the selected students.
Reimbursement is processed after the meeting in accordance with COST rules.

- Alignment of the abstracts with the scientific scope of the meeting
- Country of affiliation (ITC priority)
- Gender balance
- Student's profile
Selection Process
Applications are ranked first according to the selection criteria above; supervisors of the students with the highest ranking will be contacted (around April 22) to endorse their participation. After this endorsement, the selected students will be invited to submit their abstracts and register for the workshop via Indico.
