ELI ERIC University Day 2024
Relations with universities are crucial for ELI ERIC in many ways. In the landscape of education, research, and innovation, universities are indispensable partners.
The ELI ERIC University Day aims to enhance and systemise cooperation between universities and ELI ERIC. This annual event will establish and maintain a platform for exchanges, planning new activities, and monitoring collaboration progress. The participants will be university professors, senior scientists, and stakeholders. The ultimate goal of this endeavor would be establishing a university consortium around ELI ERIC.
This year’s edition aims for universities to introduce themselves, point out existing education courses/programs related to ELI ERIC research and technology, and highlight cases of education through research.
The event is by invitation only and takes place at the ELI Beamlines Facility:

IMPULSE (Integrated Management and reliable oPerations for User-based Laser Scientific Excellence) is a 42-month project supporting the transition of ELI to sustainable operations. As ELI enters a crucial phase with the establishment of ELI ERIC and the gradual opening of the ELI Facilities to users, IMPULSE addresses the key scientific, technical, organisational and management requirements of this transition, building user communities and expanding the ELI member consortium. This project is inclusive and open, and it relies on the collective effort of a wide consortium involving 15 key institutions of the European science community. IMPULSE focuses primarily on ELI, but its results must have impact beyond the ELI Facilities.
