The high-power laser centres (PALS, HiLASE, and ELI Beamlines) located in Czechia together with ECLIM2026 committees organize a satellite workshop on Radiation and Materials Aspects of ICF Reactor Development, on 19th of September 2026.
The Workshop will be focused on following issues:
- Targets and fuel delivery
- Burning fuel emissions
- Debris and its mitigation
- Protection against EMP interference
- First wall materials and structures
- Laser beam delivery and final optics
- Radiation and thermal damages
Location
The workshop will be held at the same location as the ECLIM conference, i.e. in the building of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences:
