Poster

Description

This poster presents an overview of the data management and sharing plan being developed for the potential future NSF OPAL facility, as well as plans for integrating Artificial Intelligence into both operations and scientific aspects of all project phases: remaining design, construction, commissioning, and operations. The framework incorporates findings from other scientific research facilities in the community, both NSF funded and beyond, to contextualize and inform proposed plans for NSF OPAL. The poster also gives a review of the current project timeline, collaboration efforts, and other efforts to develop NSF OPAL into a world-class scientific AI laser facility.

This material is based upon work supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation Mid-scale Research Infrastructure Program under Award No. PHY-2329970.
