From Light-by-Light Scattering to N-Photon Amplitudes

Not scheduled
20m
Lecture

Description

In this talk, I will provide a brief overview of light-by-light scattering from low to arbitrary energies (fully off-shell), including potential applications such as vacuum birefringence. I will then discuss the generalization to higher multiplicity processes, specifically low-energy N-photon amplitudes in a constant background field. Using the worldline formalism, I will present a compact master formulas for these amplitudes, which are particularly well suited for numerical evaluation via their parameter integral representation.
