Welcome

The Sixth Extremely High Intensity Laser Physics Conference (ExHILP 2025) is hosted by the ELI ERIC, ELI Beamlines Facility in Dolní Břežany, Czech Republic from 1 September to 5 September 2025.

The conference combines theory, experiment and computer simulations of laser-matter and laser-vacuum interactions at the highest intensities.
This ExHILP conference edition focuses on Strong Field Quantum Electrodynamics (SFQED) with applications to astrophysics and fundamental science with high power lasers and novel sources of high brightness electromagnetic radiation. Experiments will include multi-Petawatt-class laser interactions in plasmas, beams of ultra-relativistic particles and high energy photons.
Previous conferences were hosted in Heidelberg (2015)Lisbon (2017), Stanford (2019), Jena (2021) and Gwangju (2023).
