ELI Student Seminar series

Education and training are a core mission for ELI ERIC and key to ensure the sustainability of the scientific community of users, the skilled professionals to design, develop and operate the equipment and to building the knowledge among researchers, paving the way towards emerging technologies, innovation and scientific breakthroughs.

In support of this, the ELI Student Seminar aims to gather the PhD students at all 3 ELI Facilities for regular (bi-monthly) seminars covering key topics and developments at ELI and offering students the opportunity to present their work to their peers. The main goals are to introduce the students and young researchers to the scientific offers of all ELI Facilities through the research of their peers, while building a student network for exchange, training and learning opportunities. The seminar is also a chance for students to train their presentation and evaluation skills and familiarise themselves with other fields relevant to ELI. 

Students are also encouraged to attend the 10th anniversary ELI Summer School which takes place on 25–29 August 2025 at ELI Beamlines.
